Redding Youth Soccer League Division 4 Program

Recreational, House or Lower House developmental teams are normally formed on the basis of geographical distribution. These teams are usually intended to be equal in strength when formed and do not conform to any of the above divisions. Division 4 tournaments are open to all CYSA and affiliated teams from foreign countries and other state and national associations if the tournament has applied for and been granted the proper status. With the exception of fill-in teams, Division 1 teams and Division 3 teams may not play Division 4.

RYSL maintains both Boys and Girls Division 4 teams in most age groups.

Information For Division 4 Coaches

Playing Leagues

In-House League: U6, U8 & U10 will always be in-house leagues whose schedules can be found above.
Walt Zinko Playing League: At times U12, U14 and U16 Division 4 teams will play in the District league. Information on that league can be found here.

District IX Cup Championships

Open to all division 3 and 4, U12, U14, U16 and U19 teams in District IX.
Division 4 teams play in late October.

CYSA American Cup

Open to all division 4, U12, U14, U16 and U19 teams.
U12 and U14 teams play in early January at sites throughout the state.
U16 and U19 teams play in early March at sites throughout the state.
