Hello Coaches,
Thank you for volunteering to coach with Redding Youth Soccer league.

Coaching and volunteering in youth soccer is one of the most fulfilling experiences you will ever have if you truly love the game, and seeing the joy in others while they play.
​
There are no registration fees to be a coach with RYSL however there are a few requirements. Passing a National Background check, Taking the Safe sport certification course, and Passing a Disqualification Review.

Below you will find some helpful Step-By-Step instructions on how to complete these various Steps.

Background checks can take up to 2-3 weeks to be approved.
Without this you will not be allowed to coach.
Logging into your Account
Go to gotsport.com, and log into your account you created when registering.
Once you log into your account, Click the 'Dash Board" button and it will take you to your main screen where your requirements are at.
SafeSport
First Click on the "More info or Details" button.
Once you've complete the course, return to Gotsport.com and click "Show Safe Sport Upload Form", and then upload the screenshot of proof showing you completed the course.
Click Upload document and wait for approval.

Background check
PLEASE NOTE: There are two steps to complete background screening.
First, submit this form in GotSport (step #1).
Once you do that, you will receive an email from JDP, US Club Soccer's background screening vendor, to continue and submit your application (step #2).

Disqualification-Suspension Review
​First begin by clicking Disqualification-Suspension Review (Staff) "More Info"
Once you've complete the this self-certification form.
Click Summit and wait for approval.
