Opportunities
Customer Service Rep

(3-5 Needed) – Is the primary point of contact for all questions from customers. Will be using and updating existing FAQs as well as the phone line to provide customers with information or direct to other league support teams. Reports to VP Quality.

 

2 hours every other week Jan-May (Spring) or July-Nov (Fall)

Volunteer Coordinator

Recruits and maintains a contact list of all individuals interested in volunteering. Help select and recruit for specific roles as well. Reports to VP Quality.

​

1-2 hours per week during the soccer season.

 

Parent Liaison

Is a current parent of an RYSL/NSS player. Helps support the parents during the season with information regarding RYSL, soccer, and upcoming opportunities for parents. The point of communication when a parent does not feel comfortable discussing a team issue with a coach. Liaison then directs request, inquiry or issue to the VP of Quality.

 

Marketing Reps

(2-3 needed) - Helps promote RYSL through social media and other media channels. Creates and distributes signage, emails, texting blasts, etc. to current members and new prospective members. Reports to VP of Growth.

 

Community Outreach Coordinator

Identifies underserved communities and works to create relationships and opportunities for players throughout the Redding area. Reports to VP of Growth.

 

Community Service Coordinator

Works with the City of Redding and other organizations to identify community service needs. Will plan, organize and execute small to large community service efforts each season. Reports to VP of Growth.

 

Sponsorship Coordinator

Will work with SRSA/CASP to identify and provide sponsorship opportunities to community businesses and individuals. Works with teams, coaches and parents to promote sponsorship opportunities. Reports to VP of Growth.

Equipment Manager

Seasonally takes inventory of current equipment (balls, bags, pennies, whistles, etc). Orders new equipment and manages distribution of all equipment to RYSL teams. Reports to VP of Operations

 

Field Coordinator

Coordinate and assign practice fields and times for teams, including at the California Soccer Park as well as at local parks and schools. Track and manage practice field assignments. Work with coaches to resolve practice field assignment conflicts. Coordinate efforts with California Soccer Park field reservation system and personnel

 

League Scheduler

Schedules RYSL league matches and maintains weekly updates if changes occur. Works closely with CASP and referee coordinator. Reports to VP of Operations

 

Uniforms Coordinator

Seasonally takes inventory of current uniforms. Orders new uniform kits each season and manages distribution. Is liaison to Admiral for all NSS uniform orders. Reports to VP of Operations

 

Head Age Group Coordinator

Organize and train all Age Group Coordinators on how to perform their duties. Problem-solve and support the work of the Age Group Coordinators as they execute their duties. Resolve conflicts which may arise in team formation. Aid in coach recruitment where needed. Be available by e-mail or phone for the coordinators and their needs for the teams.

Special Events Coordinator

Works with CASP to plan and deliver special events including but not limited to Tournaments, Jamborees, Picture Day, Camps, Clinics, etc

 

Referee Assignor

Keeps a list of all currently licensed referees and assigns to NSS and RYSL matches.

 

Referee Coordinator

(3 needed) Reports to the Referee Assignor. Is present on game day to help referees in finding their assignments, and making changes when appropriate (no-show, injury, etc)

 

Referee Mentors

(5 needed) - Reports to Referee Coordinator. Works with referees on gameday to teach and encourage.

 

U14-U19 Age Group Coordinator

Recruits coaches for, creates team rosters, and manages communication with coaches and teams throughout the season. First point of contact for all U14 – U19 Coaches

 

U12 Age Group Coordinator

Recruits coaches for, creates team rosters, and manages communication with coaches and teams throughout the season. First point of contact for all U12 Coaches

 

U10B Age Group Coordinator

Recruits coaches for, creates team rosters, and manages communication with coaches and teams throughout the season. First point of contact for all U10B Coaches

 

U10G Age Group Coordinator

Recruits coaches for, creates team rosters, and manages communication with coaches and teams throughout the season. First point of contact for all U10G Coaches

 

U8B Age Group Coordinator
